Traditional Role

Procurement and sale of traditional Agro Forestry products and undertake development work for the scheduled tribes of Jharkhand.

Specified Role and Present Activities

Procurement of Minor Forest products and surplus agricultural products like Tamarind / Mahua Flower / Chironjee / Barbati / Tassar Cocoon etc. through LAMPS and Tribal Cooperative Societies and marketing with the help of TRIFED & NAFED at THE APEX ORGANISATION, Government of India. and through other recognised agencies.
Motivating groups and individuals to pursue income generating economic scheme and securing loan on their behalf from Financial institutions like NSFDC, NCDC, Comercial banks and Government assistance subsidy.
Organise group trainings in income generating schemes through the support of Government of India, State Government, NSFDC and securing loans and other assistance for placement after completion of their training. Propagate TRIBAL ART / HANDICRAFTS by participating in exhibition at State / National level. Run production - cum - training centre, showrooms & sale outlets for benefits of targetted group in the state.
