The Department of Science & Technology is committed to provide quality Technical Education and promote scientific awareness among masses.
The State has therefore launched a drive to bring about substantial and solidly built infrastructures.
To add attraction & enhancement of value and power to Technical Education in respect of Quality and Standard of Science & Technical Education for easy access of the students of the State, program as launched by the State Government have to be oriented for a large & substantial capacity in addition to taking up establishment of new institutions such as Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, Centers for Advanced Studies in the Departments of Universities/Colleges.
Investments in the Government Sector have been proposed to be substantial and at the same time making efforts to mobilize Private Sector.
Investment to launch joint venture initiatives and projects based upon PPP model so that the largest possible number of students residing in Jharkhand are benefited and enabling them to have access in Higher Education in Science & Technology at reasonable expense and so that they do not have to migrate to other States for Higher Technical Education.
